I am a Professor of Philosophy at Claremont McKenna College in Claremont, California.

I work primarily at the intersection of epistemology and ethics, especially on moral debunking arguments and moral/pragmatic constraints on rational belief. I am also the creator of The Levels System, a unique approach to teaching analytical writing, and Philosophy Unlocked, a project that makes philosophy more accessible to non-professionals.
